Southwark Labour is delighted to be recruiting for a new Borough Organiser to lead our local election campaign ahead of the 2021 Mayoral and GLA elections and the 2022 council elections in Southwark.

Southwark Labour has increased its share of the vote in the borough at the last four local elections, winning 55.3% of the popular vote in the 2018 local elections and 49 of 63 council seats. The role of the Borough Organiser will be key to defending and building on this record as we take our message to the electorate in the 2022 elections.

The post holder will be responsible for building and maintaining party organisation and activity, and establishing effective election and campaign organisation working in liaison with the Southwark Labour Group, LCF, London Regional team, the London Assembly Member, local MPs, Labour Party officers, Constituency Labour Parties, Branches and other units within the Party.

The salary for this role is £30,000- £35,000, dependent on experience.
